Approach
The O’Dwyer Group is a specialist firm that takes an individual, consultative approach when working with its clients.
The approach we take is as follows:
- Initially, we discuss with our client, face to face, their business, objectives and specific requirements.
- We request a formal job description from the client for each role they intend to fill.
- We match the job description to a shortlist of suitably qualified potential candidates.
- We submit the job description with a company background to selected candidates.
- Qualified candidates are phone-screened to establish their career objectives and assess overall suitability to the role for which they are being considered.
- Candidates that pass the phone-screening process are required to meet with an O’Dwyer Group consultant. The candidate is then briefed on the opportunity, the company background and the interview process.
- Suitable candidates are recommended to the client for consideration. This process ensures that the client meets only candidates who are well-qualified for the role, making the selection process more efficient for all parties.
We aim to pass on feedback from a client to each candidate within 24 hours of an interview. At this point next steps are discussed and agreed. Prior to a formal offer being extended, a reference check is conducted, in most cases by a consultant from The O’Dwyer Group.
